Our next free wedding music showcase in Brighouse takes place on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at Jeremy’s at the Boathouse.
Choosing your wedding entertainment is a big decision. Videos help you narrow down your options, but they can’t fully recreate the energy, sound, and atmosphere of hearing musicians perform in the room.
That is why we put on our live showcases. They give couples the opportunity to experience a carefully selected range of wedding entertainment before deciding what feels right for their day.
The showcase is free to attend, but advance registration is required because places are limited.
What to expect from our wedding music showcase in Brighouse
We have carefully planned the evening to demonstrate the different ways live music can become part of your wedding.
You will hear everything from music suitable for a ceremony or drinks reception through to energetic evening entertainment designed to fill the dance floor. The performances will cover a mixture of pop, soul, Motown, disco, dance, house, R&B, rock and indie, including favourites that guests of different generations will recognise and enjoy.
Rather than depending solely on sleek promotional films or clips recorded on somebody’s phone, you’ll hear the performers through a professional live sound system and experience what they are really like in the room.
Who will be performing?
The current showcase lineup includes:
The Crescendos – a versatile six-piece wedding band.
Static Hearts – a five-piece rock and indie wedding band.
DJ and Sax – combining a live DJ set with the energy of live saxophone.
Velora – featuring vocals, saxophone and percussion.
Dance The Night – a six-piece band created to bring the party atmosphere to your evening reception.
Together, the acts will demonstrate a broad selection of music, vocal styles and instrumentation. The running order may remain flexible on the evening, allowing every performance to develop naturally.
A relaxed evening with no sales presentation
We want the showcase to be an enjoyable part of your wedding planning—not an evening where you feel pressured into making decisions.
There will be no sales presentation and no expectation to speak with anyone. You are welcome to find a comfortable place, enjoy the performances and let the quality of the music speak for itself.
James and Adam will be available if you would like advice, have questions or want to request availability for your wedding date. Some availability may be confirmed immediately. If we need to check with particular musicians, we will provide a definite answer within 24 hours.

Jeremy’s at the Boathouse is one of Brighouse’s best-loved places for food and drinks, making it a great opportunity to enjoy an evening out together as part of your wedding planning.
The kitchen will be open until 8:00 PM, so you can eat before the showcase or order food while enjoying the entertainment. Drinks will be available to purchase throughout the evening.
Free parking is available, and the venue is accessible.
