We really want a band, but love the idea of DJ with saxophone too

Deanne enquired asking for availability for the 6 piece band "The Crescendos" with DJ service for the evening reception at Wylam Brewery Newcastle. This was to include a custom first dance of the Luther Vandross hit "Never too much", where it was to start slow and an acoustic feel, kicking into the full band after the first chorus and guests would join in and the party starts.

After sending a quote, Deanne started dabbling with the idea of having DJ and sax instead of the band as they really love the dance music and Ibiza vibes. With The Crescendos, the band members have two DJs within the band itself, and the sax player involved regularly does the DJ and sax for weddings. We could make it happen with the 6 members, catering for everything the couple wanted.

The Solution:

We suggested it was possible to stick within budget, while having both the band, DJ with Sax and DJ for the evening. You get 90 minutes of live music in total from a band booking, so we split the sax into one of the 45 minute band sets and then performed a 45 minute DJ and sax set after the band. This gave amazing variation for the night and ticked the boxes for all the music the happy couple liked and wanted as part of their day.
